In the winter wonderland that is South Canterbury, and just minutes away from our boutique lodge, are numerous skiing possibilities such as Fox Peak, Mt Dobson and Alpure Peaks at Fairlie, Round Hill at Tekapo, Mt Potts at Erewhon, Ohau at Lake Ohau, Mount Hutt, Mt Olypmia at Windwhistle to name but a few. Most of these ski fields have fantastic powder snow and are far less crowded than their more well-know counterparts in Wanaka and Queenstown. After a vigorous day in the snowy fields, come back to our boutique lodge in the heart of South Canterbury and enjoy a glass of mulled wine in front of a roaring fire, or relax in your spa or claw bath.
