South Canterbury is an exceedingly creative region with some truly talented artists and craftsmen residing in the area. Talents flow strong in crafts such as pottery, knitting and original hand blown glassware in an array of dazzling colours, and the work is beautiful beyond belief.

We have one particular example of local craftsmanship at Kavanagh House, in the form of the beautiful original stained glass windows exceptionally restored by Geraldine based artist, Helen Watson.
