The Giant Jersey of Geraldine
specializes in the manufacture of pure New Zealand woolen knitwear.
Also supply the tourist retail sector throughout New Zealand,
owners Michael and Gillian Linton have been retailing and manufacturing
in Geraldine since 1993, and before that in their Peel Forest
home since 1985. The knitwear is produced on hand operated knitting
machines - a process known as 'hand framing'. Visitors are welcome
to watch this in action. Every garment is individually made and
carries the Fern Mark label, to strict standards of quality and
performance.
