Pleasant Point Museum & Railway's
display spans nearly a century. It is home to the world's
only Ford Model trail car, an occasionally operated antique printing
press, and a tribute display to local pioneer aviator, Richard
Pearse. The Railway Society has regular steam days, with occasional
locomotive day excursions - a must for railway enthusiasts. Housed
in old station buildings, the museum preserves the town's
association with the Fairlie Flyer. When closed apply to Dunheath
House, opposite the station. Hours vary.
