Opihi Vineyard has won several awards and we sell their excellent wines in our boutique lodge's in-house restaurant. Mainland Brewery has a massive plant in Timaru's booming industrial suburb of Washdyke, just down the road from our boutique lodge. It is responsible for producing most of the South Island's DB draught beer - making its visitors centre something of a pilgrimage site for many a South Islander.
