Our boutique lodge is situated in the township of Winchester on State Highway One, one and half hours drive south of Christchurch and three hours drive north of Dunedin. Kavanagh House is on State highway One, 200 hundred metres from Highway 72. Turn off to Geraldine & Queenstown. Coming from Christchurch, continue south past the town of Orari. Winchester is the next small town, around a 10-minute drive. Alternatively turn right after Rangitata Bridge onto highway 79, through Geraldine town, then left at end of the road. We are 200 metres on the left. Our beautiful boutique lodge is in close proximity to the towns of Timaru, Temuka, Geraldine, Pleasant Point and Peel Forest.
